DJI Zenmuse P1

The DJI Zenmuse P1 is a full-frame camera designed for use on the Matrice 300/350 RTK and Matrice 400. It is developed for photogrammetry but can also be used for inspection or documentation where sharp, high-resolution images are needed. It also has an incredibly high write speed and can therefore take images at intervals of only 0.7 seconds. This allows the drone to fly at high speeds and thus be very efficient for image collection for photogrammetry.

Full-frame sensor

To increase the efficiency and resolution (GSD) of your projects, the P1 has a full-frame sensor of 45MP. The sensor has a pixel size of 4.4 μm, making it light-sensitive and enabling a short shutter speed. The short shutter speed ensures sharp images without motion blur.

High efficiency

The large image sensor and incredibly short image interval time allow you to fly at higher altitudes while maintaining resolution (GSD) and maintaining a high cruising speed. Thanks to the ability to fly at higher altitudes, you can cover a significantly larger area in the same flight time. This allows you to work more efficiently and either get the job done faster or cover more ground in a day.

Mechanical shutter

To ensure sharp images even at higher flight speeds, the Zenmuse P1 is equipped with a mechanical shutter. This eliminates the risk of rolling shutter effect, which is a major advantage when producing photogrammetric orthophotos and point clouds.

High-precision georeferencing

Together with the DJI Matrice 300/350 RTK and Matrice 400, the DJI Zenmuse P1 uses DJI's TimeSync technology to synchronize the gimbal, flight controller, and RTK module. The images are therefore georeferenced with very high geographical accuracy. This facilitates photogrammetry processing and provides exceptionally good end results.
