Emlid Corrections

Emlid Corrections is a built-in correction service for RTK surveying that delivers 1-2 cm accuracy both horizontally and vertically, entirely without your own base station and without the hassle of NTRIP. The service is based on VRS technology and powered by Point One Navigation's professional correction network, which means your Emlid receiver gets centimetre-accurate positions delivered directly over the internet.

Coverage map

The network covers Sweden, Norway and Finland as well as a long list of countries in Europe and the rest of the world, and is continuously being expanded. Your licence is valid globally and follows along as the network grows.

Everything is activated in the Emlid Flow app. You simply choose to redeem the free first year included with the device, or enter a purchased licence key. No mount point configuration, no login credentials to keep track of. The service is up and running with a single tap.

Every compatible device comes with one year of Emlid Corrections at no cost. The year is activated in Emlid Flow and starts counting from the moment of activation. This is not a trial version, it is a fully functional service from day one. The idea is that every new Reach user should get centimetre accuracy straight out of the box, with no correction source to find or set up.

Frequently asked questions about Emlid Corrections

Does Emlid Corrections work throughout Sweden?
Yes. The Point One network covers Sweden, and the service also works in Norway and Finland as well as a number of other countries in Europe and around the world.

Do I still need a base station?
No. The corrections are delivered over the internet, so you need neither your own base station nor access to an external NTRIP service.

Do I have to configure NTRIP manually?
No. The service is activated with a single tap in Emlid Flow and delivers corrections automatically. No mount points or login credentials are needed.

Can I move the licence to another device?
No. Each licence is tied to a single device and cannot be transferred.

What happens when the free year ends?
You can top up with a 1-year or 3-year licence at any time. The 3-year option gives approximately 46% lower cost compared with renewing one year at a time.
