YellowScan Mapper+

Mapper+ is an excellent LiDAR for those who want to get started with a system that can deliver really good data at a reasonable price. With a Livox Avia laser and Applanix IMU/GNSS module, you can produce data with high resolution and accuracy.

Mounting with DJI or Gremsy quick release

Mapper+ can be delivered with either a DJI Skyport or Gremsy quick release mount. With these, you can mount and dismount the scanner in seconds. It also has screw mounts on the sides that allow you to build your own mounts for virtually any drone, as long as it has the space and lift capacity to carry the scanner.

Accuracy and precision

Mapper+ has a Livox Avia laser and Applanix APX-15 IMU, which together deliver very fine data. With this scanner, you achieve 4 cm accuracy and 3.5 cm precision. Using strip adjustment and smoothing in YellowScan's software, CloudStation, you can also refine the data to a very high level.

Camera modules for colourisation and orthophotos

Mapper+ does not have a built-in camera but supports the installation of several of YellowScan's camera modules. With these, you can colorize point clouds so that they are more realistic and easier to interpret, and you can also generate high-resolution orthophotos.

Simple operation with a yellow button

Like all YellowScan systems, Mapper+ is easy to operate. It has four status LEDs that indicate that the power, storage location, IMU/GNSS, and any camera module are OK. Then just press the yellow button to start and stop scanning.
