YellowScan Venturer

YellowScan Venturer is built on the Riegl MiniVUX scanner, which delivers data with outstanding precision, and the APX-RTX 20 IMU from Applanix, which offers very high positional accuracy. Together, this makes the Venturer a scanner that delivers point clouds in the absolute top class.

New HMI display

On the left side, the Venturer has a completely new HMI display (Human Machine Interface) that lets you configure and start/stop the scanner during missions. You can see the status of the battery, GNSS and remaining storage space.

Integrated dual cameras

For colourising point clouds or generating orthophotos, the Venturer comes with dual integrated cameras. 

Supports YellowScan's external camera modules

If you need higher-resolution RGB images, you can mount YellowScan's external camera modules on the Venturer. You can choose between the 26MP single camera, the 26MP dual camera (pictured above) and the 61MP single camera.

Compatible with several drone types

Like all YellowScan systems, the Venturer can be carried by a range of different drones, as long as they have sufficient payload capacity. The Venturer weighs 2.45 kg (without battery) and can easily be carried by, among others, the Matrice 400 and the Hexadrone Tundra 2.

360-degree FOV

When capturing vertical surfaces is important, whether buildings, infrastructure or rock faces, the Venturer can capture them with its 360-degree field of view.  

Burst Mode with 120-degree FOV

When higher resolution is the top priority and you only need to capture ground and terrain, you can run the Venturer in Burst Mode. The field of view is then limited to 120 degrees and the points are concentrated downwards.
